The city offers plenty to explore, it offers infinite layers of hidden secrets. It offers extraordinary visual delights, interesting spots, diverse culture and amazing food scene. Plan your trip well in advance, so that you can make the most of your stay.

Bangkok is best known for its luxurious malls, gleaming temples, floating markets, amusement parks, gardens, museums, luxurious boutiques, exotic local cuisine and its famous nightlife. Bangkok has plenty of surprises for its tourists – stay in the city, explore and enjoy to your fullest!

If you are a park loving person or you have kids or elders in your group who love to spend some quiet moments, away from the hustle bustle, the many parks in the city have a lot on offer. Santichaiprakan Park is one of the liveliest places, which is popular amongst the locals and the tourists as well. This is a beautiful riverside park, from where you can enjoy some amazing sunset. Saranrom Park is another famous public park which was once a part of the royal palace. A striking Chinese Pagoda and the cherub fountain are all an integral part of the park. Though there are many gardens in the city, the Khaosan garden is often referred to as the hidden gem of the city. It has a library, a bakery, coffee shop, a French restaurant and much more in its setting.

Hundreds of tourists visit Bangkok each year, in search of its cultural heritage, temples and palaces. The Grand Palace is located in the heart of the city. It is the best example of European and Thai architecture. Visit the palace to know more about the times and culture of the royalty and how it has evolved over the years.

The City Of Museums – Bangkok has several museums with some of the best collections of art. The National Museum Bangkok has the largest collection of devotional art, many of which belong to the Thai Royal family. The Prasart Museum has replicas of some popular royal residences, houses, palaces and much more. The Erawan Museum is best known for its huge three headed elephant statue, which stands tall at a height of 40 metres.

You can also visit the city during its annual festival which is held in the month of April. If you are lucky enough to be in the city during the king’s birthday, you can witness the Royal Guards’ parade as well. Visiting the city during national holidays is also a wonderful idea.

What to do in Moscow

Moscow – the cosmopolitan capital of Russia has plenty on offer for tourists. It is known to be one of the most vibrant places in Europe, buzzing with activities. It is all about 24 hour buzz in the city – with sprawling shopping malls, nightclubs, bars, historic places and rich culture. Moscow has been my dream destination since childhood – finally I was fortunate enough to spend a week in this magnificent city and enjoy its grandeur to the fullest.

If you are planning to visit Moscow, plan your time well. The city has more than 96 parks, there are more than 18 exquisite gardens, including the famous botanical gardens. This is a beautiful green city with a rich history and amazing hospitality.

Any visit to Moscow is incomplete without a visit to Red Square. This is a spectacular place which is a great inspiration for tourists from all over the world. This is a rectangular stretch of elegant cobblestones, which are indeed an architectural masterpiece. This is an incredible place where you definitely need to stroll for an hour at least to feel the real essence of Russian history.

Kremlin – Of course, no one returns from Moscow, without a visit to the Kremlin. It is a fortified complex, displaying a stunning architecture. It is the residence of the President and one of the most frequented places by the tourists. The complex includes several towers, cathedrals and palaces. Cathedral Square is the centre of the complex and houses three cathedrals, each one an architectural masterpiece.

Art lovers do not miss the State Tretyakov Gallery which offers a huge collection of 130,000 pieces of invaluable artwork. This gallery offers a rich insight into the rich history of Russia, offering a glimpse into the amazing heritage. A visit to the gallery offers an amazing educational experience.

Visit The St. Basil’s Cathedral –

One of the most visited tourist spots in the city, St. Basil’s Cathedral is an unusual blend of colours – one stunning architectural marvel. There are 8 churches in the layout, which surrounds the central church. The cathedral is a museum offering some breathtaking views of the interior. The intricacy and work details are amazing. If you have time, visit the cathedral at night when it is brilliantly illuminated.

Lenin’s Mausoleum –

This mausoleum attracts more than 2.5 million tourists or visitors in a year. Have a look at the embalmed body of famous Vladimir Lenin – the popular Russian revolutionary.

Shopping in the city is promising – indeed a place to shop till you drop. Red Square is a must  – just hop into GUM, even if you do not intend to purchase anything. The Tvetnoy Central Market is another favorite amongst the tourists, with merchandise from different brands available for choice.
